With all of the collapsing exchanges in the news, BLOCKFI has been releasing emails, statement, and tweets claiming that all is well on their platform and that users maintain FULL ACCESS to their funds. However, the truth paints a different picture.

In an effort to limit downside, I submitted an ACH withdrawal on July 2, and today on July 8 it still hasn't gone through. Almost 5 full business days. I called them yesterday to see what's up, and they literally couldn't give me an answer. The rep said "Yea, that's weird. I don't know why it's not in the queue." I found this response odd because in the app it reads "Pending."
So they told me they would figure it out and call/text me once resolved. That was yesterday, almost 24 hours ago.
I just wanted to share this with others. Despite BLOCKFI's daily claims of all operations running normal, I still don't have my funds. And now, I've asked TWICE.
If you're not holding your own keys at this point, maybe crypto isn't for you.
UPDATE: I've received my funds just hours after posting this. Blockfi never did follow up via phone/text.
May delete this post later tonight, still undecided.
