I have to be very frank that 77 percent of my Honeygain earnings come from my referral income. Some people asked me a few questions during my last month's post. I thought maybe I will use this as an option to answer those questions. These are more like FAQs that people ask me about Honeygain. I understand that it is very common because I also had the same question in mind when I started using Honeygain.
I have been earning JMPT tokens from Honeygain. I would like to share some of my thoughts about Honeygain in this article. And maybe I can also answer a few questions about Honey gain here.
Earning is very slow
Yes, I would like to acknowledge that earning is very slow here and a normal user cannot even earn 5$ from Honeygain in a month. I'm fortunate to earn 3 to 5 dollars a month which at least helps me pay a part of my internet bill.
Referrals are very important
I personally feel that most of the income for everyone comes from referrals. Or maybe it is me who is getting most of the earnings from referrals. My gathering is only a part but referral income is the primary thing for me. It is also absolutely passive. Even if I stop gathering I would still be getting income from referrals.
Last month the team introduced some additional earning opportunities for the users. I was able to get some extra bonus last month for adding one or two referrals but looks like there are no rewards this month from referrals I believe. But the regular gathering income from referrals itself is pretty decent I would say. But compared to last month it has also reduced. Last month it was over 3000 credits and this month it is a little below 3000 credits.
I'm not interested to take any additional efforts to increase my referrals and as long as this one stays passive, I'm happy to at least spend some time every month while writing this article to review my earnings there and see how it is performing. For most people, this is not exciting because they cannot earn much by just using the app. The gathering is very slow and for some people, the gathering doesn't even happen. I personally find it amusing because I have enough referrals that are giving me some passive income otherwise the income for new joiners can be a little slow. But that doesn't mean that you shouldn't try this. I would say that it is good to give it a try because I also initially thought this is very little and I'm not going to do anything with this little income but right now it looks pretty decent. After all, it is our unused internet that is going to be used.
