Stand up - TV - everyone on TV is doing something better than you - such enthusiasm, why aren't you spiking volleyballs and sitting with ladies in bikinis

George and Jerry at the restaurant.  George froze with a woman.  Need to get into a mental state like the karate guys.  Some guy calls George a wuss.  George calls the woman and gets an enthusiast "HI"  She said yes to the date.  

George and the woman are in a car.  Jerry and a woman are in a car.  The woman asks George to come up for some coffee - and George says no "Coffee keeps me up late at night"  The woman is puzzled and gets out of the car.  George then realizes what he did.  The woman invites herself over to Jerry's apt and they are talking.  They are comfortable on the couch - her name is Donna.  Donna keeps snuggling herself closer to Jerry.  Jerry doesnt like a commercial but Donna does.  They actually start to argue.  

Stand up - such scrutiny with dating.  Needs to magnify everything.  

Jerry is obsessed with the fact that Donna likes the commercial.  Elaine and Jerry are talking.  George shows up - depressed.  Why didnt I go up - I cant drink coffee this late at night.  Coffee is sex at night.  How soon is too soon to call?  One day - needy.  Kramer shows up - he thinks up a stand up routine for Jerry.  George decides to call his date.  Everyone must leave for George to call. 

Answering machines exist.  The answering machine - George leaves a ridiculous message and looses it.  Rambles.  Take it easy.  Froze - Come and listen to the idiot.  Dont try to improvise.  Elaine tells a story that piques Georges interest.  Change the tape. 

Jerry and Donna are talking - never seen an episode of "I love Lucy" and I am lactose intolerant.  George shows up and blurts out that Donna actually likes the commercial.  She gets upset.  Kramer shows up - the commercial.  Donna leaves angry.  

George and Jerry are eating.  George doesnt hear from his date.  Gets upset.  Leaves all sorts of terrible messages.  George gets a message from his date. - she was on vacation.  There is a possibility she didnt hear all of the messages.  George wants to switch tapes.  Jerry doesnt want to change tapes.  George calls Jerry a wuss 

George and Jerry are waiting at her apartment.  Whats the signal if she starts coming.  Tippy Toe.  "How do you solve a problem like Maria."  Lemontree.  Never got the dates name - she doesnt want to go up to her apartment.  What a production.  They convince her to go up to the apartment.  In the apartment - George talks to her in the other room.  Jerry changes the tape in the answering machine.  Job done.  On the way out - the woman tells George she heard all the messages and she loves jokes like that.  She is not mad at all.  

Stand up - I wish I was a phone machine.  Cant slam a cordless phone.
