A greedy hamster stealing the cheese

RollerCoin: The greedy hamster missed the Web3 train.

Web3 games are online games that use blockchain. All decisions about game rules, updates, and community governance are made through a transparent voting process where all users can participate. This creates an open and fair online gaming experience.

The name, Web3, follows on from Web 1.0 (the early days of the world wide web) and Web 2.0 (the shift towards an interactive web with social media platforms). Web 3.0, or more commonly Web3, is the next phase of decentralized internet.

With blockchain, players can own and trade in-game items like character skins. This is similar to trading physical cards but in the digital world.

Players can also earn in-game equipment and other valuable items. When they stop playing, they can trade these items with others or use them in different games.

Beautiful, right ?

So that brings me to RollerCoin.

They obviously missed the whole Web3 concept, their Terms Of Service clearly state that players should not use their platform for investments and that players can be banned without reason.

This is extremely disturbing for anyone who has invested time and money in their service.

Over the years of playing I have suggested on the Rollercoin Discord that the game evolve toward NFT's and true ownership, their argument is that this would damage the in game economy because people would create secondary marketplaces.

Sounds like greed to me.

My opinion is that Rollercoin and any other games that are gleaning profits from the crypto community by selling themselves as play to earn sites (when the reality is that they are pay to play games) should be brought to rights.

They should evolve or be cancelled from the crypto space.

That's my conclusion, let me know what you think in the comments.
