Mōrena everybody, wow what a thunder and lightening display there was last night. The spring rains just keep falling, and lots of the land around me has surface flooding. The lightening was so close together at some stages that a second flash would appear before you heard the thunder of the first. Fortunately it appeared to be mostly sheet lightening so I guess strike damage would be at a minimum. It's funny how we as humans have this idea in our head about what the weather should be like in a certain month, but then papatūānuku (mother earth) throws a curve ball out there.
Back to business though, here is todays joke - a bit nature related. Hope you have a great day wherever you are, take care, stay safe, be kind.
What do you call an elephant that doesn't really matter?
Irrelephant.
