Mōrena everybody, what a chilly start to the day it has been here - I have even had the heater on to warm up the atmosphere. Something I have come across recently is peoples unwillingness to learn the correct name for things. I work on the fringes of the IT industry, and am trying to get people to use the correct terminology for computers and screens. It seems that the 'oh whatever, you know what I mean' is a standard response - and no I don't know what you mean. The difference is quick significant, especially when trying to rrouble shoot an issue. I feel we all need to either learn the correct words, or be open to learning them so we can all communicate more effectively.
