Sweat Governance Event: The Vote on the Abandoned Wallets

By Investigator515 | Back2Crypto | 13 Jun 2023

We've written before about Sweatcoin and talked about our thoughts on the project previously. We've also discussed previous governance events before, where the program has looked for community feedback in regards to how the project evolves.

It's been an active month for the project already, with a new Learn to Earn module focusing on stable coins and offering a reward for 1 USDT for completing it, which was a pleasant surprise.

However a few days ago there was a second governance event. You might recall previously that we wrote on the first event here, where it discussed either distributing or burning tokens.1

This second event asked the question of what to do with abandoned wallets. We've attached a screenshot but it said that 2 billion tokens were tied up in wallets that were either non responsive or inactive. It asked the question of "Should these tokens in active wallets be Reallocated?1

We cast our vote and over 86% of 118k people that voted, chose to reallocate the tokens. Perhaps this means we'll soon get more tokens staked in a growth jar!1

If you haven't checked your Learn to Earn inside the sweat wallet app, remember to look inside so you can claim your free USDT.1
