sMiles is a walk to earn app, available on the play store. You are able to earn sats based off movement and also have the ability to participate in puzzles and earn bonus sats via participation in sponsored games. If you're a chess player this might be your time to shine.

Its quite easy to get started with sMiles, the version tested here was on the play store but if you're an apple user there is a compatible version for you in your app store. The app is pretty highly rated at over 4 stars in both stores.

Registration is reasonably simple, although it appears you'll need to go in to the app daily to ensure your movement is transferred and your sats are registered properly. Google registration seems to be the easiest way however their are other options. Cashout is via the bitcoin lightning network. Its a reasonably low withdrawal minimum, at 100 sats however its also a low initial pay out with my first month turning in around 10 sats a day.

There is the option for double earning and bonus rewards if you shop within the app. Its unknown to me how this feature is as i haven't to used it and don't intend to.

You can earn additional sats daily by completing chess puzzles, and there's also a full game feature when you can win up to 500 sats for being victorious in a chess match.

The app will ask for permissions to your google activity account, so if you're privacy focused around 3rd party apps that may be an issue for you. Although using a secondary device if you have one may be an option.

Overall, sMiles is a quick and simple app for earning sats whilst you go about your day, however its unknown if the payout is worth the privacy trade off. WIth no need to mint an NFT like Stepn, and no requirement for a dedicated wallet like Sweatcoin however, it is worth considering if you are interested in walk to earn apps that are low fuss to get involved with. .
