In my previous post I commented that the governments of many countries are beginning to put cryptocurrencies in their sights in their eagerness to collect taxes. COINTRACKING is the best tool that we can find today, if we want to keep track of the balance of our cryptocurrency portfolio, in case one in a near future, we need to demonstrate our accounts to the authorities, to avoid paying penalties for non-compliance of the new regulatory laws.

The first thing we would have to do is add the different operations that we have carried out. This allows us to do so in the following ways:

• Importing from an Exchange: it is compatible with the main Exchange, thanks to which it is possible to transfer operations directly.
• Through APIs: through this function it is possible to automate the movements made from a wallet or Exchange, and the tool automatically adds it to our account.
• Manually: through a drop-down menu, we will enter our operations one by one, indicating: amount of currency purchased, amount and currency sold, and day and hour of the operation. The data entered is easily editable, and it also allows adding fields with additional information, such as Exchange, withdrawals, etc., which will later be used to organize and group these operations.

Lo primero que tendríamos que hacer, es añadir las diferentes operaciones que hayamos realizado. Esto nos lo permite de las siguientes maneras:

• Importando desde un Exchange: es compatible con los principales Exchange, gracias a lo cual es posible transferir operaciones directamente.
• A través de APIs: mediante esta función es posible automatizar los movimientos realizados desde una wallet o Exchange, y la herramienta lo agrega automáticamente a nuestra cuenta.
• Manualmente: a través de un menú desplegable, ingresaremos una a una nuestras operaciones, indicando: cantidad de moneda comprada, cantidad y moneda vendida y día y hora de la operación. Los datos introducidos, son fácilmente editables, y además permite añadir campos con información adicional, tales como Exchange, retiros, etc, que más adelante nos servirán para ordenar y agrupar dichas operaciones.

Once we have registered our operations, COINTRACKING offers us a large amount of analysis. Some of the most representative are the following:

• Panel: in this section we will have a photo with the most relevant information of our portfolio: total value of all our currencies, total value of all currencies, account value among others.
• Statistics of operations: it will show us interactive graphs, calculated based on our operations, representing: losses or gains, value by currency, number of currencies and volume of operations.
• List of operations: here we will have the history of registered operations. It allows to classify and order all the displayed values.
• Daily balance: shows us a calculation of all operations for a specific day. This allows us to travel back in time to find out the value of our portfolio, for a specific date in the past.
• Average purchase prices: another important feature is knowing the amount of our average purchases.
• Export Tax Declaration: as I mentioned before, in this section we find one of the most useful tools, the tax report generator.

Una vez tenemos registradas nuestras operaciones, COINTRACKING nos ofrece una gran cantidad de análisis. Algunas de las más representativas son las siguientes:

• Panel: en este apartado tendremos una foto con la información más relevante de nuestra cartera: valor total de todas nuestras monedas, valor total de todas las divisas, valor de la cuenta entro otros.
• Estadística de operaciones: nos mostrará gráficos interactivos, calculados en base a nuestras operaciones, representando: pérdidas o ganancias, valor por moneda, cantidad de monedas y volumen de operaciones.
• Lista de operaciones: aquí tendremos el histórico de operaciones registrados. Permite clasificar y ordenar todos los valores mostrados.
• Saldo diario: nos muestra un cálculo de todas las operaciones para un día concreto. Lo que nos permite hacer un viaje en el tiempo para conocer el valor de nuestra cartera, para una fecha específica en el pasado.
• Precios medios de compra: otra funcionalidad importante es el conocer el importe de nuestras compras promedio.
• Exportación de Declaración Fiscal: como comenté anteriormente, en este apartado encontramos una de las herramientas con mayor utilidad, el generador de informes de impuestos.

One of the few drawbacks that I find is in its APP for mobile devices (in my case in the IOS system), since it does not allow to enter operations, it is only prepared for consultation.

Una de los pocos inconvenientes que encuentro, está en su APP para dispositivos móviles (en mi caso en sistema IOS), ya que la misma no permite introducir operaciones, únicamente está preparada para la consulta.
