SocialFi will be going to be new norm.
I am not sure if the metaverse is going to come soon and become the norm, Is AI going to take all the jobs and human has nothing to do and they will just enjoy? But one thing I am sure that Social Finance is going to be the new norm.
When you think about the Social finance system, Hive fits the bill as it can be used as a social interaction medium and it allows the user to be their own bank and user can do free transactions. Most importantly having HBD as the stablecoin in the Hive blockchain will help against the crypto volatility also.
Anyways, Hive is still far from mass adoption and Twitter now X already has a mass following and is trying to integrate the payment system which will include Crypto too, It is not like tat Musk is thinking like a visionary here as Meta/Facebook already thought in similar lines and failed.
So I do not doubt that all companies are evening the financial transactions market as it is already evident by the existence of several "Pay" systems like Apple Pay, Samsung Pay, and Amazon Pay, etc, etc. that every one like to be there presence felt there.
Will it help the underprivileged?
The main characteristics of crypto are transparency in its supply, a decentralized network that helps to facilitate payment
any time and any day and most importantly it bank the unbanked.
I'm not sure whether having a payment gateway will help or not but definitely, it will give an easy method for doing payments.
At current, I can say Hive is a true Social Fi system but it does not have a fiat option and I guess with HBD as a stable coin, it does not require a fiat option. I guess that this model will be replicated in the future and the Social Fi model will be going to rule the future.
