Technical Analysis. It's a useful skill to have when trading. This applies to cryptocurrencies but also stocks and all indexes. A trader who has TA under their belt can make calls and execute trades that are more likely to succeed, whether it be a short, long, hedge, etc. However, learning technical analysis is a hectic scene at best when jumping into the world of investing and trading--and especially in crypto. Bitcoin has been known to defy signals and bludgeon its own path to whatever destination it may head to. This, combined with a FOMO instinct and emotions, creates an incentive to learn with other people, rather than alone. Now, of course, there are resources everywhere for literally everything, and TA for crypto is no exception. Given the growing popularity, more and more traders and analysts are hopping on to the trend. While this is an excellent course of events for the future of crypto, it also provides many calls of all sorts--more bad than good.
This is where the WhaleStreet Discord and Telegram servers come in. Created and maintained by @whale and a few others, these two channels provide a way for crypto and stock traders to share their charts and analysis. The Discord channel provides regular official calls by several experienced analysts including CryptoWhale and KingPivots -- and most have been quite accurate. In fact, here is a list of all recent calls made by Pivots. Furthermore, TA handbooks made by Whale are also accessible. Everything is free of charge. For reference, I dove headfirst into crypto right as the infamous 3.9k bitcoin level was revisited back in March. It was only a few weeks after that I stumbled upon WhaleStreet. While I'm certainly not anywhere near independent in terms of calls, I'm now at least able to make them now. No matter what, joining the WhaleStreet community will grow your experience and maybe even open a few connections here and there. There's really no harm in trying and you've got everything to gain.
