Here is what the sign beside the rabbit says:

New Discovery

Researchers don't yet know enough about this new species of rabbit to say whether or not it is endangered. But the forests of Laos and Vietnam where the rabbits live are being extensively logged and the animals are heavily hunted--two factors that could quickly and dramatically reduce the population of this newly discovered mammal.

And there you have it. Humans ruin everything.
