Pi network is what lead me to learn about cryptocurrency and its future. I got interested in it after a friend send me link of pi and started mining.  I mined regularly for some months and stopped mining and am starting to mine right now and got around 760 pi. As i am new to cryptocurrency , I heard about bitcoin and was shocked to see the value of it and learned that at the beginning it was also worth nothing.

So, i thought if pi were to become big at any point in my life , i would regret it for my life. Now i am mining it regularly and hope they will introduce trading pi to all the world. 

Pi doesn't feel like a scam

In pi you only have to open once a day to show you are mining and i think it doesn't drain battery nor steals data. The founders of pi have also shown their profiles and they are stanford graduates. If it is scam then they would have problem revealing their identity or so. I support the idea of mining cryptocurrency without expensive devices and mobiles are accessible almost to everyone and from my information it is very popular in asia. 

Even if it is fake i don't think i will take it as a loss as it doesn't need for me to invest money in it.
