Today's journey was quite exhausting and quite demanding in the final section, with some hairpin bends along the way, and a long section at that.

However, the views that the route offered were wonderful, although they reminded me a bit of the landscape of Greece.

Things changed when we reached Wadi Musa, a town right next to Petra. Since we had a car for the entire trip, we decided to soak up some local folklore, and we weren't disappointed.

Zmiana nastąpiła gdy dojechaliśmy już do Wadi Musa, miejscowości tuż obok Petry. Jako, że mamy samochód na cały wyjazd, postanowiliśmy zarzyć trochę miejscowego folkloru, i nie zawiedliśmy się.

We didn't encounter a single European the entire day, and we also stayed at the Petra Magic Guest House, run by a Jordanian couple in the village of Uum Sayhoun. Quite an interesting experience.

Przez cały dzień nie sotkaliśmy ani jednego europejczyka, a dodatkowo zamieszkaliśmy w Petra Magic Guest House prowadzonym przez małżeństwo jordańczyków w wiosce Uum Sayhoun. Całkiem ciekawe doświadczenie.

We didn't encounter a single tourist in the village, and yet we became the subject of scrutiny. It's a bit tiring when everyone greets us and wants to high-five us.

W wiosce nie spotkaliśmy żadnego turysty, a sami staliśmy się obiektem obserwacji. Trochę to męczące jak każdy się wita i chce przybić piatkę.

The village itself is very poor, but there are smiles on every face. We couldn't get enough of the children.

Sama wioska jest bardzo biedna, ale na wszytkich twarzach widać uśmiech. Od dzieci nie mogliśmy się opędzić.

Cool experience. Tomorrow we have an 8-hour tour of Petra. We'll see what it brings.
