Today's walk resulted in an extraordinary observation. In the place where I often sit on a bench, my favorite band of blue tits always appears.
Dzisiejszy spacer zaowocował niezwykłą obserwacją. W miejscu, w którym często przesiaduję na ławce, pojawia się zawsze moja ulubiona banda sikorek modraszek.
I call them a gang because they are terrible scoundrels. They chase each other, steal each other's food, make noise, and are generally terrible troublemakers.
Mówię o nich banda, bo to straszne łobuzy. Ganiają się nawzajem, podbierają sobie pokarm, hałasują, generalnie straszne rozrabiaki.
One of them, however, was different, which I noticed only when I got home and looked at the photos on the monitor. It turned out that she was ringed. I didn't expect it, considering such a small bird, I generally didn't know that blue tits have rings.
Jedna z nich jednak była inna, co zauważyłem dopiero w domu przyglądając zdjęcia na monitorze. Okazało się, że jest zaobrączkowana. Nie spodziewałem się tego, przy tak małym ptaku, generalnie nie wiedziałem, że sikorki modraszki są obrączkowane.
The second thing that intrigued me was the place where the titmouse sat. It's exactly the same one where her other friends sit. The same twig, and exactly the same place as seen in the photo. Is it a coincidence or do they choose this place consciously?
Druga sprawa, która mnie zaintrygowała, to miejsce w którym sobie sikorka przysiadła. Jest dokładnie to samo w którym przysiadają inne jej koleżanki. Ta sama gałązka, i dokładnie to samo miejsce co widać na zdjęciu.
Is it a coincidence or do they choose this place consciously? Two different individuals sit on a twig in an identical pose in the same place. If it weren't for the close-up on the screen, I wouldn't have realized that I was feeding two different animals 😉
Czy to przypadek, czy wybierają to miejsce świadomie? Dwa różne osobniki siadają na gałązce w identycznej pozie w tym samym miejscu. Gdyby nie zbliżeni na ekranie, nie zorientowałbym się, że karmię dwa różne osobniki😉
