Meandry cieku Michałkowickiego - Park Śląski

Today, a bit about lesser-known places in the Silesian Park. Surprisingly, I didn't know this place until yesterday either. And that's for a prosaic reason - it was created recently.

Dzisiaj trochę o mało znanych miejscach w Parku Śląskim. O dziwo, to miejsce do wczoraj również mi nie było znane. A to z prozaicznej przyczyny - powstało niedawno.

When I was walking through these areas last year, it was hard to tell what kind of place it was. Overgrown paths, water ditches blocked by old trees and some kind of sluice at the end.

Gdy jeszcze w zeszłym roku przechadzałem się tymi terenami, trudno było określić co to za miejsce. Pozarastane dróżki, zawalone starymi drzewami rowy z wodą i jakaś śluza na końcu.

Today I know that this is a unique place in the park and these are the Michałkowice streams, or rather meanders, because they twist and turn quite abundantly.

Dzisiaj już wiem, że jest to unikatowe miejsce w parku i są to cieki Michałkowickie, a dokładnie meandry, bo one dość obficie się zawijają i kręcą.

The entire area has been cleaned, renovated and developed. At the same time, a number of information boards were placed, informing what is found in a given area. And there are quite a lot of them.

Cały ten teren został oczyszczony, odnowiony i zagospodarowany. Jednocześnie postawiono szereg tablic informacyjnych, co na danym terenie się znajduje. A jest tego dość sporo.

The place abounds in unusual species of plants and animals. I won't write about them, because you can read about it from the boards attached to this article.

Miejsce obfituje w niezwykłe gatunki roślin i zwierząt. Nie będę o nich pisał, bo można to wyczytać z tablic dołączonych do tego artykułu.

Walking in this place is pure pleasure, especially since it is far from the center of the park, and besides, few people know about this place. We can therefore count on peace, solitude and pleasant experiences, because the nature of this place is extraordinary for the Silesian Park.

Spacer w tym miejscu to czysta przyjemność, tym bardziej, że jest ono oddalone od centrum parku, a poza tym niewiele osób o tym miejscu wie. Możemy więc liczyć na spokój, samotność i przyjemne doznania, bo przyroda tego miejsca jest nietuzinkowa, jak na Par Śląski.
