Hello everyone, I'm Byron from Canada and I write to many damn articles. I also draw zombies, cats, monsters and a combination of all three at once. One of the more fun cat creatures I like to draw from time to time is Cthulhu Cats. There's something fun and slightly addictive about drawing cats with tentacles for the bottom of their faces. I love the challenge of making it look possible and the detailing of the tentacles and fur is just fun.
Tentacles are fun to draw. There, I said it.
So this bad ass Cthulhu Cat started off as a black and white ink drawing, and only 4"x6" in size.
This was actually an inktober drawing from a few years ago. Shortly after it was drawn I had it enlarged and printed a few copies out to paint. There is only one other version of this painting in someones art collection, and I really doubt I will ever do another because I'm now constantly making new art. So for now this one hangs on the wall of my home. Pretty soon though, it could be hanging on the wall of your home.
In case you're wondering, I used mostly watercolour paint, some acrylic paint, and a lot of ink and gelly roll gel pens for the vibrant highlights.
It ships flat in a protective case and comes with a bunch of prints, thank you sketch, certificate of authenticity and maybe another surprise or two. Ships from Canada via Canada Post and a tracking number will be provided.
