In fact, even in the field of translation and text writing, artificial intelligence has created a real watershed: if, on the one hand, according to many, it inhibits the writing and critical reasoning skills of people, especially younger ones, on the other hand, it would be an additional intelligence that would help humans to be effective in the linguistic field, for example by helping them in various projects, such as creative writing. Moreover, the same social media platforms, of which it is clear that ideas can also be expressed to their disadvantage due to the digital distraction they often cause, can be used as spaces for collaborative learning: just as sailors once relied on constellations to navigate uncharted waters, students can use online communities to share knowledge, collaborate on projects, and cultivate global perspectives.
In navigating the digital seas of education, educators and parents must act as captains, steering young minds away from the treacherous currents of distraction and guiding them toward the shores of academic success: for example, by promoting digital literacy, encouraging conscious use of technology, and fostering a love for genuine inquiry and curiosity about what surrounds us; all this would represent for humanity (especially that of the near future) a safe harbor to thrive in an ever-evolving digital landscape.
