Art is complicated and is often misunderstood. Recently however artists have been using this fact to create art that confuses on purpose. There is a great video from h3h3 which I will link here. 

This video to me shows the sorry state of art it's confusing and meaningless. Art is meant to be about beauty and the pursute of personal truths. Mabye it's just to produce a response negative or positive does matter? 

The artist gerhard richter is one of the best artists of the last 80 year's but his beauty comes from guilt specifically German guilt about the 2nd world war. 

The West is having an identity crisis and the art is reflective of that. Art that is currently being lifted up as the best art of our time is normaly a statement on a minority group and thier struggle..there is nothing wrong with this but when anyone else trys to make a stament perhaps of the versa or to mabye see it from the other point of view just like opinions it is shut down.

Art should and can be about anything but why does it need to be so depressing and all about how bad the genral population is.

Instead of shiting on those the artist disagrees with why don't they try and show them their truth. 

Instead of talking about how bad capitalism or how heartless the West is mabye instead we can show how we can make it better. 

Art has become about fitting the progressive narrative. Again nothing wrong with that but there is far more to life than just progressive points of view. Art can simply be a beautiful photo or drawing, but it is great art when it uplifts people and shows a beautiful and complex point of view. Or perhaps highlights somthing that is over looked. Simply complaining is not enough on its own.

In short modern(I mean contemporary) art is about complaining not explaining about deconstruction not construction . 

Our platfrom works under the philosophy that nothing should be censored as long as it is quality work no message too offensive as long as it is crisp and beautiful in it's production.
