A very disturbing set of images.

Initially I thought it could be about sleep paralysis (unlikely because the subject is asleep on her stomach).

Then I thought, maybe insomnia? I’m occasionally plagued by it myself. (Also not possible, the subject is very much asleep)

What about nightmares in her dreams? (Subject doesn’t have much features to go off of… they mostly look serene)

That’s when I finally came to my conclusion.

These are a series of paintings of a woman, sleeping alone.

Naked in her own bed.

Unbothered by anything and everything around her.

…Why?

Because she’s had a long day.

She’s been through enough.

Constantly worrying about everything and everyone other than her.

But now…She’s resting.

And while she’s resting she doesn’t care about anything but herself.

No Demon is more terrifying than a woman interrupted, whilst on her path of healing.
