Hello friends from Hive and Holozin community! I hope you are having a nice day. As has been customary this month, I am sharing the drawing from the Zingtober initiative. Following the Inktober calendar, today's theme, the penultimate and corresponding to the 30th, is violin. I share with you the result and part of the process. Join me!
The idea and concept behind the drawing was to bring our beloved protagonist Zingu, this time playing a catchy melody on his violin. I started the drawing with a quick sketch. I won't deny that the shape of the violin and how to place it on his small wings complicated the process a bit, having to repeat it several times.
After having the whole sketch ready, I started with the lineart. I'm still using this new brush I created myself, and I’m really liking the results, because although it has its texture, it can create very precise and solid lines.
With the lineart ready, my favorite part: coloring the illustration and adding some lights, shadows and details to bring our character to life. Finally, I created a background with small watercolor stains so the image didn't feel so empty.
That’s all for today, friends. I hope you enjoyed the process as much as I did creating this illustration. As always, I look forward to your comments and advice. We will read each other in the next post with the last drawing of the month. A big greeting and, as always, my best wishes for luck and success. Until next time! Byeee!
¡Chauuu!
