Without a doubt, today's protagonist will be our Forest Healer, who has appeared in several drawings throughout the month. This time, she takes on the role of photographer and, equipped with her camera, she decides to capture the beautiful moments and the amazing creatures around her.

For this drawing, I used Photoshop completely, in black and white, following the Zingtober rule. Although lately I am not satisfied with just black and white drawings, and I end up adding color after finishing them. I used a solid brush for our protagonist, and for the background, I opted for a superposition of various motif and texture brushes to achieve a retro and grungy effect.

First, I made a quick sketch, using blue for the first part to arrange the structure, and red for the final step. After this comes one of the parts that takes the longest but is very fun: the line art. I used changes in line value to give a sense of depth and darkness.

With the line art ready, I used a grayscale palette to give the base color. With the base color completed, it was just a matter of adding lights and shadows, and some details and reflections. And this is the final result in black and white.

As I mentioned earlier, I didn't want to stop there, and thanks to the ease of the digital format, it was very easy to color the illustration by simply adding a solid color in multiply mode over each black and white layer.
Without further ado, I hope you enjoy my drawing and the process. I send you a big greeting and, as always, my best wishes for luck and success. Until next time. Bye.
¡Chau!
