Hello friends, today I would like to post a quick video about my previous post. My pixel art practices are focused on character creation. This time, through a base body, I created three different character concepts.
Without a doubt, creating characters is a challenge, especially when we are starting out. I tried to give each character a unique personality that would differentiate them from the previous one. I was inspired by the first three Final Fantasy games, but I recommend taking a look at Final Fantasy VI, where we have different classes to choose from and each character will adopt a different appearance in each class. We can easily appreciate how clothing and accessories can influence our perception of the character. For the first character, I created an explorer. I used these colors for the clothing because I think they would identify him easily along with the hat. The second character is a red mage. Red mages are characters who can master both white and black magic. And finally, I wanted to create a blue aquatic monster. I liked it a lot, but it reminds me more of a blue mage or a character from Avatar.
During this short time learning pixel art, I have undoubtedly learned a lot, but I know I need and can improve. I hope you enjoy this short video.
