I hate anatomy! I said it, and the weight of keeping it inside lightens a bit. How long have I been trying to learn to draw! It's been a long time, and I can't really complain, I've undoubtedly improved, but my fear of realistic forms and human bodies has pigeonholed my drawing style into a flat cartoon illustration, without volumes and often without any expressiveness. That's why I decided to change this and practice more anatomy.

Calculating proportions is often a headache, even after following every method you see in books and on the internet. The arms grow more than expected, the fingers look deformed... And let's not talk about foreshortening, because it's extremely complicated. Without a doubt, I will require a lot of patience, time, and practice. I think it's time to lose the fear and start. I will try to document my learning process and share it whenever possible with you. I'm learning, so please don't be too harsh in the comments.

Today I also reached the middle page of my sketchbook, so without any practice, I decided to try to do my best and draw some random shapes. They will help me know where I started and measure my progress over the days.
