Today has been a bit of a tough day for me. What I had planned as a productive day ended up being a day in bed. What I thought was a simple migraine from the screens turned out to be a tropical virus, so I spent the day with a high fever and headache.
Truth be told, I felt pretty bad and couldn’t imagine not completing all my pending tasks. At this moment, I am feeling much better and barely have a fever, so I have decided to start with everything I didn’t do during the day. I have already completed my daily Duolingo lesson and now today’s #dailydoodles.
Today led me to reflect on the need to sometimes put on the brakes and not sacrifice our health for the sake of being productive enough. This world is sometimes too fast-paced and our lives go by in screens and clicks, so I want to encourage you to slow down for a day. Not everything in life requires immediate action, sometimes we just need to get some sleep or sit back and reflect to see what we have accomplished so far and recharge our batteries.
It’s not about being lazy, it’s about finding our own sustainable pace. If you feel like everything is coming at you, take a step back, take a deep breath, and sit back to enjoy a cup of your favorite beverage while you regain your rhythm.
Well, thanks for making it this far. For now, I bid you farewell, wishing you the best vibes. As always, all support and comments are greatly appreciated. I hope you enjoyed the reading. See you soon. Bye!
