Dream with your eyes, reach for the stars.

 I want to start by wishing you a nice day, full of many joys and achieving goals, or at least getting closer to achieving them. It’s the fourth day of doodles and reflections, and I hope you’ll join me.

Have you ever stopped to look at the stars? In the greatest darkness is where they offer us the greatest spectacle, twinkling distant and mysterious. Now, think about your goals, your objectives and dreams, what you want to achieve. Aren’t your dreams like personal stars, your own map of constellations?

Your dreams, at times, may look like distant stars. You can see them in your mind, you can wish to visit them, you can imagine what it would be like to reach them, but they are still far away.

Now, let’s think, who are the closest to the stars? Astronauts and space travelers. But for that they need a spacecraft, and to build a spacecraft they need knowledge and learning about science, physics, mathematics, engineering and much more. They will also need to prepare their body and mind for the journey, a task in which they may often fail and even think about leaving the dream of reaching the stars behind.

To get closer to your dreams and goals, you will also need to build that ship, the means that will bring you closer to them. A building process that will require sacrifices, learning and failures. Don’t get discouraged if your dreams don’t take flight or if you have to make an emergency landing back at the starting point. Learn and treasure experiences, and perhaps the journey will be as satisfying as the goal.

So remember, don’t stop dreaming with your eyes open looking up at the stars. Dream with your eyes, reach for the stars.
