Always looking for new inspirations to create, I recently wrote about one of my favorite movies, The Fifth Element. In my post, I talked about the almost magical, out-of-this-world beauty of the Diva Plavalaguna. I wanted to capture with my illustration this ethereal beauty of a being from another planet.

In an infinite universe, aren't we all aliens?

Cosmic Allure is an attempt to encapsulate the grandeur and beauty of this being through my lines and colors. As always, starting from a pencil sketch. With her forward gaze and slender figure, she invites us to appreciate the beauty in the uncommon. In the vastness of the cosmos, the possibility of life beyond our planet is a thought that oscillates between astonishing and disturbing. I decided to go with bright colors and use semitones of color to fully draw attention to the central figure.

En un universo infinito, ¿acaso no somos todos extraterrestres?
Cosmic Allure es un intento de encapsular la grandeza y belleza de este ser a través de mis líneas y colores. Como siempre, partiendo de un boceto a lápiz. Con su mirada hacia adelante y su figura esbelta, nos invita a apreciar la belleza en lo poco común. En la inmensidad del cosmos, la posibilidad de vida más allá de nuestro planeta es un pensamiento que oscila entre lo asombroso y lo inquietante.
