OpenAI has unveiled a new version of ChatGBT called Translate, a dedicated translation tool, as part of its efforts to compete with Google Translate, according to a report by the American tech website Android Authority.
The tool's initial design is similar to other translation tools, particularly Google Translate, consisting of two boxes: one for the source text and the other for the translated text, with automatic language selection without user intervention.
The tool's strength lies in its post-translation capabilities, according to the report. It offers a range of options directly below the translation boxes, including refining the translation for a more professional and fluent look, formalizing it, and significantly simplifying it.
When any of these options are activated, the user is automatically redirected to the traditional ChatGBT interface to continue working on their translation.
