ANKR Token Staking Update From Our Head of Product
Our legendary Head of Product,
, and Product Manager
gave an update on where the team is currently in building ANKR Token staking. This much-anticipated feature will be available soon as we are aiming for its release next month (July 2022)!
We showed off the new staking dashboard currently in design and how it will work. This will be the first-ever instance of staking to full nodes (as opposed to validator nodes). ANKR token stakers will stake to the independent node providers serving RPC request traffic on Ankr Protocol. In this way, ANKR token staking will create a circular and decentralized economy for RPC services:
- Developers pay for each RPC request in ANKR
- Node providers serve blockchain requests to earn ANKR
- Stakers contribute ANKR to nodes to share in the rewards
