As the DeFi space continues to grow, so does Ankr! Today, we’re proudly announcing StakeFi — our new vision which aims to become the largest platform for cross-chain staking. It will fully absorb the current functionality of Ankr Staking, offering lots of additional features on the way!

Originally, Ankr Staking was designed as an Eth2 staking protocol with instant liquidity — and proved to be a great success soon after its launch in late 2020.

Earlier this month, we began to expand its services by adding support for Binance Smart Chain (BSC), one of the most active networks in the space right now. The addition went smoothly, empowering our users with even more accessible ETH staking as Ankr quickly became the number one validator on BSC by voting power.

With that accomplishment, we’re now launching StakeFi — a cross-chain staking derivatives protocol. We firmly believe that the future of DeFi is cross-chain, and are therefore exploring how we are able to help stakes in different PoS networks communicate with each other.

Currently, we are exploring BSC, Avalanche, Fantom, Polkadot, Flow, Near and Solana. Eventually with StakeFi, not only will users and investors of this protocol enjoy a fixed income from the network inflation, but they also gain access to liquidity and yield in a cross-chain environment.

This is an on-going process and we will integrate the cross-chain staking protocol to each network one by one.
