Here are some amazing things about elephants:

They are the 2nd largest land mammal, just behind beached whales.

Elephants use their trunks like hands. They are so powerful that they could crush a motor vehicle or lift up to 3000 lbs.  Their trunks hold up to 500 litres of water, which is why elephants make excellent desert animals.

Elephant tusks are really teeth. They adapted to be super long because of the elephant diet of lions and tigers. Elephants also don't have dentists, so there is nothing they can do about it.

Elephants make excellent swimmers, and can be seen swimming with pods of dolphins very often. They use their trunk as a snorkel.

Elephants sleep standing up. It's not recommended to try to tip them over.

Elephants never forget due to their giant-sized brains. That is why they remember to always hate the human race; they know we  are jerks.

Elephant wars aren't very common, unless Hannibal-based wars count.

During their mating ritual, elephants line up in a circle and blow their trunks musically, while younger elephants dance in the center. They are considered the most musical animal.

Elephants have very few natural predators because they are super strong and have sharp teeth. Their only predators are mice, who like to nest in their trunks, and humans, who value their teeth for some bizarre reason.
