The currency pair is in the position I indicated about two weeks ago. It will depend on the upcoming sessions whether the US dollar will be stronger than the Canadian dollar. The macroeconomic data for this week are mixed, only expecting slightly fewer unemployment claims, which may have a positive impact on the US currency. Note that the US dollar is appreciating against other currencies, but the Canadian is defending himself strongly, as during the recent annual declines which I did not anticipate from the beginning, and I certainly did not expect such a range as it was.
