If you are like me, you love cryptocurrency but don't know much about it. This is why I started blogging, to expand my personal knowledge. In the past I was interested in things that honestly weren't going to get me anywhere: guitars, music, art, travel. I wanted to find something interesting that would help me to further myself intellectually AND financially. I'm new to the PublishOx community and found myself googling the two coins used on this website for tipping. What exactly are they and what does their future look like? I'm writing this for those like me who don't have the technical knowledge but nonetheless are still interested in the crypto space.
Ampleforth (AMPL)
From what I can find Ampleforth is a digital currency that adjusts its supply based on market conditions. It is similar to a stablecoin with one difference, it adjusts its own supply of tokens instead of relying on deposits and transactions to maintain its parity with the USD. Basically it mints and burns tokens everyday to achieve a 1 to 1 ratio with the dollar. Keep in mind that the price of this coin will not fluctuate much.
Harvest Finance (FARM)
FARM is another ethereum based token which powers Harvest Finance, an automated yield farming protocol. There are only 690,420 ;) FARM tokens in existence making it a scarce commodity. Basically Harvest Finance is a yield farming protocol designed to automatically maximize yield farming profits and FARM is its token. The price of this currency fluctuates potentially making it a good investment and a good one to have. Unfortunately price projections are all over the board, positive and negative, making it hard to predict if this will be a good investment.
Doesn't Hurt To Try Does It?
As far as I can tell just dipping a toe in the crypto space could potentially benefit you in the long term. Things could work out for you or you could lose everything you put in, it's still worth it to try. Plus it's an interesting topic if you are looking for something else in life to spend some time on, a new hobby perhaps?
