When did censorship begin? Asking myself this question, I cannot even determine the age in which this phenomenon appeared. I get the feeling that she has always been with us. Absolutely, in ancient Greece and Rome, censorship inseparably followed state power, where the Senate already then controlled the mood of the masses, in order to prevent mass unrest, and, of course, in order to keep all power in their hands.

Well, more and more. Books that were subject to seizure and destruction began to fall under censorship. Even lists of such books were compiled. Everyone got it - poetry, works of art, scientific literature. Well, if we remember the Middle Ages, then everything became even more acute. Literature, paintings that did not correspond to church ideas were burned, destroyed in a particularly barbarous manner. Well, what happened to the authors, we all remember very well from the school history course. At best, the authors spent their entire lives in the casemates of the Inquisition; at worst, they were burned at the stake.

And after all, the traditions of combating unwanted information are successfully adopted from those ancient times from century to century, only today they have become more veiled and sophisticated.

In 1953, Ray Bradbury wrote the science fiction novel Fahrenheit 451. There he described the near future, where any books are under the most severe ban and are subject to destruction. Throughout the story, the author voices the idea that one should not give a person the opportunity to see the situation from all sides. That let him see only one side, and even better - none. R. Bradbury essentially described everything that is happening in our society today. And quite accurately described what censorship is. When you need to make sure that a person does not see any side of the issue.
Advances in science and technology have made censorship much more subtle and less visible. But the goals pursued remain the same.

So I have a question - censorship was, is and will be? Was? Yes, we have already figured it out. There is? Yes. Especially often we meet with her now on the Internet and social networks. If an opinion differs from the accepted one appears in the vastness of the network, if reasonable criticism appears, if the author of the content is of the “wrong” nationality, then all information, all pages are immediately subject to blocking. And lately, this situation has reached the point of absurdity.

Well, we still have one question about censorship - will it be? Most likely yes, but we have hope. There are ways to get around this situation. Solcial is the social network of the future. We can create our own page and do not provide any personal data when registering, our account will be completely anonymous. This is first. Further. All information will belong only to you, no one will be able to hack and steal personal information, make a fake page. We ourselves will fully own and control the data on the network. We can express our point of view. And we will not be blocked, deleted or erased. Well, the third. This is an opportunity to make money online. And most importantly, it is you who will earn money, and not the network will cash in on you.
