And here we are again talking about censorship, but today let's go a little from the other side. Let's try to look inside this system and figure it out. Who in all the networks known to us is engaged in tracking content and decides what needs to be blocked and what can be released into the open air in the open spaces of the network. Well, the first question we need to ask ourselves is who is doing the content? And the answer to this question is simple - people who live in countries with cheap labor. And these are the Philippines, Madagascar, Vietnam and other countries. As they are also called third world countries. And the beauty of the situation lies in the fact that these countries have very conservative views on life, on the world, on religion, and so on. And these people naturally have their own opinion on a particular situation or issue. Because in their lives they have more than once encountered some traumatic situations, gained experience and then they act and judge from the experience that they have learned. Can you imagine what they have to track every day, every hour and every minute? They see everything that is banned all over the world and that, of course, should not appear, all issues that fall under the norms and morals of any country in the world. Sooner or later, such people begin to become professionally deformed and, of course, this leaves an imprint on the decisions that they will make regarding this or that content. And here we can talk about bias in the decisions made and, accordingly, about censorship and restriction of freedom of speech. We can talk about bias where it doesn't belong. We are talking about the subjectivity of views.
How can this be avoided? Change inspectors? Open an office in another city, country? Well, that won't make a difference. Because each person will evaluate and make a decision according to their own criteria, i.e. even within the company, the results will be different in terms of the content being checked, and it is unlikely that we will have an objective assessment.
And in my opinion, the idea of decentralization can just help here, when there will be no one who commands the parade, will not give instructions from above and decide alone what is good and what is bad, what is permissible and what is not, what is allowed and what forbid.
Solcial is just such a social network. All issues related to content moderation, with what is allowed or prohibited, everything will be decided by the community. Rather, even each user will be free to post any information that is not prohibited by the laws of any country in the world. And if, nevertheless, content that is banned is published, then such content will be unlinked from the nodes and will be hidden from the bulk of network users.
