Each of us cannot guarantee that our accounts will not be deleted

For most of us, social media is an ever-evolving story with no downs and no setbacks. However, the truth is that social media has a life cycle. A period of rapid growth and prosperity is followed by a period of decline, and then comes a time when everything begins to return to normal. As in the life of any person, the formula for social media is: "lack of success is success." Over the years, we have watched Facebook become the most popular social network in the world. We've seen MySpace and Twitter rise and fall quickly. We have watched the rise of Google and its rapid decline.

In the beginning, social media was an interesting place to connect with friends and family. At that time, the simplest text messages were truly revolutionary. But at the beginning of the new century, as people started using smartphones rather than computers, social media has become pretty much the place where we communicate. But as we know, communication is a difficult task, especially when you start chatting with strangers. While social media isn't the perfect place to make new friends, it can be a great place to make friends.

The spread of social networks was facilitated by the registration of celebrities in them. In addition to following their lives with fans and connecting with acquaintances, people have become interested in meeting people online. With the advent of social networks, where you can find friends, relatives and even people who share your passions, Internet users have become more open. However, this has caused many people to become more outspoken and vulnerable.

And on top of that, social networks are increasingly being criticized for censorship, various manipulations of users and the use of user data. In China, for example, Facebook has been banned, although it is still available in the US, Europe, and Russia. The reason lies precisely in the possibility of manipulating public opinion. At the end of last year, Twitter was blocked in China. Not only because it allowed users to speak up, but also because the company allowed users to search for relevant news. Each of us cannot guarantee that our accounts will not be deleted for no apparent reason, that our personal data will not be used for commercial purposes, or, simply put, that it will not be sold to third parties.

What to do with it? The Solcial community is actively looking for an answer to this question, where an alternative social network is being developed that works on the principle of decentralization. The project is based on the idea of creating a "social network of a new type", which should be "a network in which all users are equal, and not vice versa." As part of the Solcial concept, it is planned to create a social network that will work on the principles of decentralization and distribution. This site promises to financially motivate to create, publish, comment, rate and moderate content. The social network will have a fundamentally new add-on - an ecosystem of rewards for useful actions and the presence of an internal token.

Thus, the rules for publishing content, its ranking, as well as the right to make a profit belong to the community, and not to the conditional owner of the server, as is done in the usual social networks. The lack of a center also eliminates the technical possibility of deleting posts or accounts. Moderation is transferred to the hands of the community, however, even there the rules are recorded in the blockchain, which means that they cannot be interpreted by the moderator in two ways.

I hope that such a platform will have the same powerful potential for business development as YouTube. After all, Solcial allows users to create their own websites, blogs and communicate with their audience using their own unique content. Any user can create their own blog to share their thoughts and knowledge with other users. You can create, edit and manage your own web pages.
