Social networks, at their discretion, prohibit or censor user content

When we talk about social networks, the first association that arises in our minds is freedom of speech. What did George Orwell say about freedom of speech? "Freedom is, above all, the right to tell people what they don't want to hear." And if you think about it, it is. And if a person does not want to hear or know something, he will forbid it. Censorship arises in his inner world. What is possible and what is not.
And if we move from one person to the Internet and social networks, where a person turns from an object into a subject, then we can trace the following trend: our news feed will be formed based on preferences and our entire history of actions on the network, be it likes, comments , articles and blogs. Internet activist Eli Parizer called this phenomenon the “filter bubble.”

Why is this happening? Yes, because we are not allowed to see alternative points of view, because artificial intelligence algorithms believe that we may not like them. And if we watch TV, which can also distort reality, but there we have the opportunity to take the remote control and change the channel. But switching the channel to Twitter / Facebook / Instagram will not work for us. We live in a world of constantly generated, almost continuous information flow, which is managed and created by Internet corporations. And they, in turn, create another reality that is beneficial to them by manipulating society.

But in most civilized countries, no country can directly prohibit freethinking, because in the United States the first amendment to the Constitution interferes, in Russia, article 29, paragraph 1 of the Constitution of the Russian Federation, in Germany, article 5 of the basic law. Therefore, everything that we see and happens bypasses, so to speak, from the "back door" - through political pressure on social networks.

In addition, Internet corporations are very closely associated with political and economic elites, in many countries with their own government, which has the ability to interfere in their activities. What comes out of it? Twitter / Google and any social network or search giant have the right to disable a user's account if they do not like account activity / suspicious or illegal actions are recorded from their point of view. Or maybe they considered the mailing list as spam and denied access to the content. For someone, deactivating an account can be a problem and even a tragedy, because a huge amount of personal information, audio, video, photos and documents can be stored in a personal account. The same goes for an ad account that is directly related to a job. Everything will depend on how much we are involved in the ecosystem of Twitter / Facebook / Instagram / Google, what services we use.
And even high-ranking politicians and officials have become victims of blocking accounts on social networks. Recently, Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov spoke from the UN podium that the "non-transparent policy" of social media was of great concern. Increasingly, they “prohibit or censor user content at their own discretion”, “openly manipulate public opinion”.

So Solcial, a decentralized social network, unlike the social networks now known and popular to us, which are famous for their censorship, which are subject to outside influence, shows us a completely different way in relation to us. In Solcial, we remain an object, with all our rights and obligations, without control from the network and developers.

Users will control all their data themselves, they will be available only to you and no one else. And it will never happen that archives and documents will be lost or become the property of many. We can be sure that we will not be hacked, banned, and no one will create a double - our digital avatar.
The network will work under any circumstances. We will never come across a situation where when we visit a social network page, we see that it is not available due to a crash, a cache error, a browser malfunction, etc.
