First I read about Uptrennd on Publish0x and I told myself, I will give it a chance.
After I published an article and I saw there wasn't much result about it, so I forgot about it, a week later I saw aprox. 8 upvotes.
Then I started to publish more articles, and I discovered the hidden gem of Uptrennd - the comments, actually I didn't discovered it; Elena Demou explained it to me. It takes time to write articles, I procure to write them my way because I don't like much doing it in a complicated way. When I give classes to my students, I tell them, you have to speak other people's language because we have to assume that not all people are experts in your area of expertise.
Well, this week I had a lucky break and one of my post got around 90 upvotes, it really made me happy to see that other uptrennd members liked it.
I want to share one of my tip that started to show great results for me: Every day I check my Points HIstory and I observe who upvoted me, the same day or perhaps the day after I usually upvote that person, and I try to do it at least 2 or 3 times. The people who post a comment on my articles, I always answer it, perhaps not immediately but no more than 48 hours later. I upvote comments of people who support me and they usually do the same. I really love this engagement mechanism, this what makes Uptrennd different, entertaining and rich; I didn't see it this way in other crypto sites; that's a Uptrennd's strong competitive advantage.
The day when I don't publish articles, I just check my following and suscribed section, and vote for interesting posts; what I like about articles here is that actually you learn every day new things. Actually I am a beginner, I don't say that I know a lot because that would be a very cocky statement. We shall be like Socrates said: I know that I don't know anything. And the tips and expertise of other members make our cryptowealth grow.
The level system is a smart thing because you have a challenge to progress, in every level the upvote increases 0.1 point. Also if you want to have faster benefits you can do it in a fast track way and buy the points.
