Liquid Piston recently deployed a new Test the Waters page at StartEngine which is an option firms can use prior to initiating a formal raise. We are monitoring closely to observe progress and consider further potential investment as we got involved during a prior raise. We have no idea what the adjusted valuation will be for this raise.
It might be worth taking a look at, especially considering the combustion engine has seen little to no innovation in over a century really. Combustion engines are long overdue for improvement, enhancements, and innovation. With drones, lawnmowers, military equipment, bikes, scooters, small aircraft, cars, and so many other applications possible, it will be interesting to see how the company fares. The company has even already shown its engine can run on hydrogen - quite a game changer potentially.

For the record, we currently view the position we have in Liquid Piston as the one with the highest amount of upside outside of crypto. Our approach is to identify and act on highly asymmetric opportunities where there is extremely substantial upside in opportunities where the target company could conceivably control or maintain a dominant market share position in industries emerging or ripe for explosive growth due to innovation, regulatory change, or other major factors. We tend to not like retail or spots where zillions of players will beat each other to a pulp. We do tend to like things like having the IP locked up for the world's next combustion engine.
