The purpose of $ALTER

• Governance: the token will provide the ALTER community with choices on improving the privacy of the ALTER dapp. This will also give them options on the partnerships and add-ons that the application will take. In addition, the user would be able to hold the token in the application’s wallet and would be able to submit it to a voting committee. $ALTER = 1 vote: whenever a proposal is given, users can vote for it with ALTER tokens. Proposals will pass with a simple majority of 50.1%. All $ALTER holders with more than 0.25% (100,000) of ALTER tokens can submit a proposal to the ALTER Network: once a proposal is submitted voting will be public the next day. Each proposal will have a voting period of 9 days.
• Subscription earned revenue: after 3 months of public listing, a portion of revenue goes back to $ALTER’s LP providers, referral program agents and Seed round investors. The bigger the traction, the bigger the liquidity pool and price. More details to follow.
• Liquidity mining: users would be able to provide liquidity for $ALTER token pairs like: ALTER/SEFI, ALTER/SIENNA, ALTER/SSCRT, ALTER/USDT, and later on ALTER/SILK earning rewards in $ALTER, $SEFI & $SIENNA. The APR for each pair will be announced by December 19, 2022. The $ALTER token will be listed on the following Swap platforms: Sienna Swap and Secret Swap.
• We will be introducing the ALTER:EGO referral program at the end of the first quarter in 2022. This program will aim to organically grow the user base of ALTER products, encouraging users to invite their friends and family to give ALTER a try. Rewards in the form of $ALTER tokens and NFTs will be distributed to engaged participants to incentivize growth and community support. ALTER:EGO is something we’ve been working on since the launch of ALTER and we plan to share more about it soon!
• We will allow users to deposit FIAT, which will automatically convert into the $ALTER token to be used for buying subscriptions. All features we plan to add in the future as well as the possibility to increase the file storage space will only be available through purchase with the $ALTER token. All other specified cryptocurrency/tokens will be subject to the standard pricing.

Revenue Share

We want our product to be rewarding beyond our powerful communications platform capabilities. We believe additional incentives are a good approach to keeping our users, investors and partners engaged and interested in the project. We will be rewarding our users and allowing them to benefit from the growth of our product by granting access to revenue sharing.

Through our strategic partnership with the Shade Protocol, we will use their $SILK stable coin as part of the rewards distributed from the generated revenue.

The incentives created for the LP providers aim to maintain their contribution to receive more $ALTER and $SILK as per the example below. We encourage people to go the extra mile and achieve an overlapping revenue share model.

Technical capabilities of $ALTER

Similar to an ERC-20 and named after Secret Network Improvement Proposal #20, SNIP20s are privacy-preserving, fungible Secret Tokens that are secured by the Secret Network. SecretSCRT or sSCRT is the first implementation of the SNIP-20 standard which is the “wrapped” version of the native SCRT version which turns it into a fungible, privacy-preserving asset, unlike the native version.

Any transaction and all rolling balances are forever kept encrypted, ensuring both anonymity and confidentiality. Each person can still query their own (and only their own) balance, as well as send tokens to others, privately. Viewing keys are critical for privacy coins on blockchain to verify the transaction to and from a user account and interactions with smart contracts. This key is not needed on public blockchains since all transactions are broadcast to the immutable blockchain. Only you and those you share this key with will be able to view these interactions. There are tools to help manage the SNIP20 tokens. Using the tools provided by the team of Buttcoin on https://btn.group, a person with a viewing key can query smart contracts and validate transactions. These tools allow a DeFi user to share a viewing key with, for example, their accountant.
