1 YNG is currently valued at €0.24. In the app, there are two ways to earn YNG. Complete daily quests and watch a 30 second video advertisement
- Daily quest 1 - Claim 5,000 steps - 0.1 YNG
- Daily quest 2 - Claim 10,000 steps - 0.2 YNG
- Daily quest 3 - Claim 6 times in a day - 0.2 YNG
- Daily quest 4 - Claim 25,000 steps - 0.4 YNG
- Video ad - 0.08YNG
You can claim after you have reached 1,000 steps. You can set notifications on your phone to tell you when this has happened which is particular useful for Daily quest 3.
With these rewards, an office worker is likely to earn 1 YNG approximately every 5-6 days. I'd say €0.24 a week is pretty decent for nothing but walking! A lot of home based mining opportunities for normal people won't earn you this and they take electricity and computing power!
As you can see from the image above, when the Exchange is officially open, you will be able to exchange your YNG for mainsteam crypto like BTC, ETH, XRP and LTC.

Another little boost you might be able to take advantage of is the referral scheme, you are able to earn 2 YNG for any new sign ups. You do not earn on-going commissions from their claims - Just a one time bonus for download and sign up. This is a lot more sustainable in my mind and largely the reason why this is my favourite app in the "crypto-for-fitness" world.
To me, this is a no-brainer! Everyone has their phone on them when they are walking around. Why not earn money from it?!
The app does not need to be open and doesn't sap your battery power. It uses information from Google Fit or Apple Health to get the step data.
Yes, this does mean that if you sit down and shake your phone up and down, that you can trick the app into thinking that you have been walking when you're actually sitting on the sofa watching Netflix!...But to be ethical and supportive of this project, I don't do this.
