What a great program. I have loved the concept of donating computing supply since i realized i could do it on my PS3. With that said, i do have a massive care for giving back, especially research wise.
So my first short writing. Folding@home as most know is an amazingly benevolent app which allows you to contribute your computing power to researching the likes of Alzheimer's through Protein Folding simulations. The ability to manipulate the images of these organisms as they are folding is just remarkable. That said, the likes of Nvidia and many others like Berkley have been donating for years. I think it is important in the quest for $$ to remember to give as much back as possible, to be in a position to do that is paramount. I highly reccomend it, and if you want to mine CureCoin folding@home is required. All Around great stuff.
Folding@home also powers the Theta nodes for gaining TFuel, theta seems to be only purchasable at the moment still, but it is ubiquitous, now compared to YoY. Theta is a great idea in my eyes, but the sheer size and weight of the players in the stake (TSLA, SpaceX, AWS etc) makes it somewhat lopsided (like with much governance). Anyway, those are my thoughts! Ill be talking about Chia in more depth with charts, pics and more. Stay tuned =)
