I have long advocated YOUGOV as a good way of making a bit of extra money, and after i managed to redeem £50.00 on Friday curious to see how long it took
Yougov is a survey company, its a sporadic one, you get perhaps a few surveys each month, sometimes they come in flocks sometimes they are very fleeting, tend to be good value for their time though 50 points or 50 p for 5 minutes work, a lot of political surveys and surveys about watching tv, but reason why it is one of my favourites is that it doesn't have the same frustrating trait of constant screen outs like other surveys, the chances are if you get an invite you'll be able to complete it and be well compensated for it.
So thought I would see just how long it has taken me to earn £50.00, so I made my first redemption on October 9th 2020, lets break it down and see what days I earnt them. You need 5000 points for £50.00 next working day bank transfer
When i look back however turns out this took me well over a year to get to £50.00 so it will take some time, now i have missed a fair few surveys but the last 6 months i would say i have done every one i have been invited to and in the last 6 months in total i have achieved 25.90 so likely take a year to get to £50.00, that may sound like a long time and it is but i definitely say its worth signing up doing all the invites you get and then each year you get a nice little tasty bonus i dont normally like companies that take so long to redeem, but for the time taken it is definitely worth, it and a very legitimate company that is going nowhere and the surveys are often quite interesting.
