Stolen blurry hued driftwood

Driftwood (A Poem A Day #29)

By AlmightyMelon | AlmightyMelon | 22 Apr 2020

Rotolinear and inexorable.
Tossed and turned in motion.
Across fitful tides and swells.

Purposeless, sharp edges.
The embrace of the sea -
it has both traced a swirling eddy
and risen a crashing crest.

Death is necessary and inevitable nothingness.
Decay as loss of significance of lack in time.
