If you were a conspiracy theorist, you would almost feel like all these viruses that have plagued the world in the past few years were maybe a Government means of population control or maybe like Thanos seeking to wipe out half of the world population (you only had to watch Purge 1 & 2 to get a really wide imagination about what Governments are capable of). From the Corona Virus to the Ebola virus, to the Lassa fever to so many others that have come in between which are too much to even include in this article. I mean do they even stop, if I was an ardent Christian like my parents, I would have agreed that the end of the world is at hand as the Bible predicted "And ye shall hear of wars and rumours of wars. For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdoms against kingdoms: and there shall be famines, and pestilences, and earthquakes, in divers places. All these are the beginning of sorrows". I mean we can see all these signs right, I'm not the only one seeing it.

But the Corona Virus could not have come at a more depressing period in world history. All you had to do was probably read through a copy of The Economist magazine to get depressed at where the world is heading. China, the engine room of the world who controlled most of the global supply chain is on standstill as they are the worst hit from the Corona Virus. As the world depends, more than it should, on China for a constant supply of goods it is also experiencing a ripple effect of the Chinese situation. I mean China's economy was growing at a good rate about 15 years ago but growth rate started to slow and now the Corona Virus is threatening to wipe out everything. Look at it this way, Corona Virus has hit and so factories have to shut down to try and contain it. Many big corporations have their factories and production houses in China for ease of labour and availability to cheaper raw materialsand in quantum supply, but now they have no products to stock up shops and store shelves, and so the world population goes hungry. World economy is in a very precarious situation as we are feeling the effect of China's "cold" more severely than anyone could have predicted. The US as well as Asian stocks have fallen like hell, and you don't need anyone to tell you the situation of the world was already in a f**cked up mess and now Corona Virus has made it way worse. I mean look at all the Global warming and climate change (which a certain top world President will never admit to) disasters we are experiencing and you just have to get depressed for the situation of the world. The wild fires in Australia, then the hails that followed, then the California wild fires and the rising sea levels submerging communities and villages in the likes of Samoa and the rest, locusts swarming and eating crops in East Africa, and add the Ice tsunamis in Russia where massive sheets of Ice are colliding with land and you would get sad pretty quick. Even without the Corona Virus, I believe the world was already headed towards depression as a result of many poor and selfish Government choices.

But make no mistake to blame the Corona Virus for all this. The real people to blame are the world Governments and elite economists who everyday engage in criminal, corrupt and selfish practices all to enrich themselves with monies that generations upon generations unborn can't even finish spending (that's if the world even allows the generations to come into existence) and they get away with it all because they created the system and their pals and buddies now run it like a Mafia. I mean we all knew that the world would never be the same after the 2008 Great Recession, but world Governments stitched up the economy and we knew the thread would one day break and this is the worst possible time it could do so. Just take a cursory glance from the political arena, to banks and financial institutions to pension schemes even the stock markets; all these top institutions are everyday engaging in fraudulent and criminal practices, especially the central banks and those frigging goddamn money printers. After the Great Depression, none of the bankers went to jail, what they did was a crime against humanity, but no they are "too big to go to jail". For their selfish gains, the global economy is now on the verge of collapse. Governments are not even helping matters at all. If the US and North Korea are not squabbling over Nuclear superiority, then India is trying to wipe out Muslims from the country, there are also the jihadists trying to take over a dying world and further adding to the refugee problem we are failing to properly handle, then there is probably a tyrant somewhere in Africa trying to amass more wealth than he and his 10th generation will be able to finish spending, there is also a Greta Thunberg screaming out her lungs somewhere that no one is listening to, then there is the dropping oil prices which is the only means of livelihood for many third world countries like Nigeria and then you know the world is really really really really f**cked up.

Food shortages are already becoming rampant, as China can no longer produce while battling with the Corona Virus and this will continue, there are also short supplies of grains as a result of massive floods in the US which was the major supplier of grains in the world, and so if it continues at this rate you would probably go hungry soon anywhere you are in the world. Can anyone even count the global disasters we are today plagued with. From Food production and distribution nosediving, to weather becoming injurious to us all, to world economies being massively hit and now health. All of them lining up and hitting the world simultaneously at the same time. How much do you think our fragile world can handle before it caves in? Mind you I come from a nation that is barely holding on after experiencing a civil war and Government officials repeatedly carting away public funds, but this is just some next level sh*t. Many times I listen to the Joan Osbourne classic "What if God was one of us", and I imagine that I would ask him if he permitted all this to maybe test our faith (but then I'll never know right). In the meantime however, I had previously planned to write a post of why I love Liverpool my darling club but I just thought you should read this first before I cheered you up with that.  I mean the world can't end for another couple of decades right (I think I'm right, right?) but Liverpool will still give me joy this weekend.

So eat, be merry, love your spouse and forget that the world is crumbling all around.
