KOBE BRYANT
On Sunday, January 26, 2020, a Sikorsky S-76B helicopter crashed in Calabasas, California, about 48 kilometers northwest of downtown Los Angeles on the road from John Wayne Airport to Camarillo Airport. There were nine people on board: retired professional basketball player Kobe Bryant, 13-year-old daughter Gianna, baseball coach John Altobelli, five other passengers and pilots. Everyone on board was killed as a result of the collision.
Investigation updates published by the National Transportation Safety Board during the accident investigation state:
The helicopter did not have a flight data recorder (FDR) or cockpit voice recorder (CVR) and did not need to be.
The toxicology test performed on samples taken from the pilot by the laboratory at FAA Forensic Science revealed that ethanol in the liver, muscle and drugs in the liver were not detected.
Viewable parts of the engines showed no evidence of uncontrolled or catastrophic internal failure.
Bryant's death has sparked numerous commemorations and praise, including those of US president Donald Trump and former presidents Barack Obama and Bill Clinton.

DİEGO MARADONA
Diego Maradona has died from a heart attack less than a month after turning 60.
The Argentinian football legend died at home, his lawyer said, just three weeks after having surgery on a blood clot in his brain.
Maradona won the World Cup with Argentina in 1986, having knocked England out of the tournament in a match which saw him score the infamous 'Hand of God' goal and another - widely considered to be one of the greatest goals of all time.
Regarded as one of the greatest players of all time on the pitch, his life off the pitch was equally notorious - amid battles with drug and alcohol addiction.
