Blockchains are tricky to pick from. Sometimes they look attractive but really aren’t. In this story, we’re going to pick a blockchain for us to move to.
Right off the bat, let’s take a look the google search trends for each of the respective cryptocurrencies: Ethereum, polygon, solana, and cardano.
Ethereum the past 5 years:
Yikes… looks like solana is pumping. Search queries do serve as a direct correlation to token price. They're somehow related to ethereum here.
I mean… to be fair.. ethereum is still a ton more searched when compared to solana.
All these search terms seem to be very relevant to just solana.
But then you really take a look at them..
And shiba inu along ripple and polygon somehow rise to the top. I know that xrp is a bad community, it’s similar to algorand; all the money is in the token itself and not in the community; not to mention the extremely unfamiliar layout it has for first time devs. Bad place to be. But we might consider it to be honest.
XRp stats: JUST IN THE USA
SIMILAR trends in the uk and the usa.
Northern ireland seems to be very interested, same with england.
NEARLY FORGOT: they just won their court case for being a security and all that nonsense…it might be good to take a look into XRP and possible have a token there as well, but more like a cross chain sort of thing and not a main chain.
That reminds me… having cross chain tokens might be a good way to go. Will have to do more research very soon.
ANYHOW, SOLANA TIME.

We’ll probably move onto the ethereum, solana, or polygon chain. Maybe even cardano.

Here are the updated figures on worldwide search trends instead of just country specific search trends. I understand that these could be misleading due to the fact that these are the searches of the tokens and not the projects inside of these ecosystems. That’ll be covered in the next crypto post followed by what was promised in the previous medium post.
