This is a combination of two articles I really meant to write for quite some time and now that Publish0x passed the 100K users mark I feel like it's a wonderful time to get everything edited and out to you my dear readers. Well... that and their writing contest. They've had writing contests in the past, however I don't consider myself to be talented enough to win one of those, but since I've planned this post anyway I'll take the chance.
Also, I couldn't miss the opportunity to create a Harry Potter-like title. I could've named this article "Publish0x and the Token of Fire". Too much? Alright I'll stop.
The authors I'm about to present are the ones that I follow the most and I genuinely look forward to their articles. In other words I don't just tip them to make my quota 😅️ hehehe. I'm joking, I would never tip just to get a couple of cents and I definitely don't tip 20%-80%. Never! 👼️ 🙂️
The Authors

Tomoyan a.k.a. my crypto firend and now token swap utility. Yes I've got a friend that's a token swap utility, problem?
![Tomoyan's avatar]()
Tomoyan is not only one of the best authors on the platform, but one of the best people. He's kind, passionate about crypto and technology. I discovered a lot about the crypto world through him and he actively helped me in doing so. A couple of the platforms that I use because of his input are Hive, Uniswap and now his own token swap thingy, which in my opinion should be called Tomoyoswap.
His articles are a mixture of well placed comedy with sharp and accurate information. He does his research well and has an engaging writing style.
Besides his more serious articles, he posts a lot of shorter, funnier material on Hive, he never fails to put a smile on my face. I highly recommend his content, you won't regret it.

Mynima is a developer, he likes blockchain technology and is an avid crypto-miner. Now, he might call himself a hobbyist, but his mining articles are so well put together that you can tell how much time he sank into them. The thing I like about his articles is that they are practical and you can start mining too, following his directions with minimal setup. If you ever wondered what's like to mine cryptocurrency, but didn't know where to begin, Mynima's blog is a great place to start.

![Rhyzom's avatar]()
Again another developer, but this one is a different kind of beast. Rhyzom focuses on decentralised technologies and has many articles in which he explains how to set up and use some of them. He has a strong technical background and it shows throughout his entire work.
If you want to discover new decentralised platforms and technologies don't hesitate to visit Rhyzom's corner of the internet.

Who ordered guitars, games and crypto? Is there any other more spectacular combination? Well if there is, I couldn't find it. If any of the three aforementioned topics is of interest to you, cast your gaze upon this amazing blog.

![Kim's avatar]()
Kim is a fellow Linux and FOSS enthusiast just like me, but I didn't know that at the time I started following him. I actually followed him for his travel articles as travel and photography are two of his great passions. The fact that he happens to use Linux is just a bonus for me, it's always interesting to see people from different backgrounds using Linux. But enough on that! He is amazingly talented with the camera as well as the pen, or in our case keyboard.
They say that a photo is worth 1000 words, but they didn't account for his. Check him out and, literally, see with your own eyes.

SkinnerCrypto a.k.a the ginger man
![Skinner's avatar]()
He needs no introduction. He is big on all platforms and rightfully so. He is a crypto maniac, in a good way, and part-time comedian. If you're looking for crypto content with sprinkled hard, raw comedy on top make sure to follow him.

![Coty's avatar]()
Now that you've got enough crypto content to read for a lifetime, let me suggest you something different. Coty is one of the yet-to-be-discovered authors on Publish0x. He writes regularly on the platform and I wish he'd be more popular. His articles consist of his thoughts and comments on different topics, but it's not just shallow stuff. His thoughts are deep, well articulated and you can feel that he's experienced in the arts of argumentation and rhetoric.
Bonus Round: This article was always intended to be a TOP 7 (I like the number), but I'll give you some more awesome people to follow: @AverageVancouverite, @winterblood, @Centilionaire. The reason why they didn't make the cut to the TOP 7 is that I started following them only recently and I am yet to form an opinion on their content, but I can give you a preview: they are awesome!
The Mysterious Token
If you are still reading and haven't run to some of the better blogs that I mentioned, let us dive into our second part of the article. What's the best token to get on Publish0X?
A lot of articles have been written recently analysing the way tipping works on Publish0X and which is the most optimal way to tip. For example, I found out from those articles that tipping 80% author yields more BAT.
But this raises the question: which is the most desirable token on the platform? Which should you strive for?
The answer is this:

The followers that you get give you the most power and satisfaction on the platform. Hundreds of people behind you is a more powerful force than hundreds of BAT in your wallet. Don't believe me? Watch what happened to Steem, no amount of Steem tokens can compensate for the hundreds of people that left the platform .
This is not to say that the followers are some virtual objects you can trade, rather I believe that they are the most important asset for an author as they give meaning to his work. Think about all those people that marked you as worthy to spam their inbox with your articles. This is what's truly valuable, attention, which is one of our most precious things nowadays and everybody is fighting for it.
Thank you all for your attention and I promise that me and the people I've shared with you today will handle it with the respect it deserves.
I'll see you all next time! Leave your thoughts in the comments, I do read and answer all of them.
