If you're of a certain age, your ears might perk up when you hear the name LimeWire. Well, the company is back - this time as a platform for membership-based communities to support content creators, artists and brands. The new LimeWire token ($LMWR) is set for public sale on May 2nd, but you can also jump in for a chance to win a share of $LMWR in the meantime.

LimeWire's new business model is focusing on the perceived improvements needed for content creators to share their brand, easier-to-use technology, and the option for fans to gain ownership of some of the content they support. You can read through LimeWire's Problem Statement for more details.
$LMWR will be an ERC-20 token on the Ethereum blockchain, and will be "listed on 3 major exchanges" according to LimeWire's FAQ. LimeWire doesn't specifically identify which exchanges, but based on their list on backers, I think there's reason for us to anticipate listings on Crypto.com and Kraken.
This particular airdrop will be for the 4,000 inviters who gain the most referrals during the time period up until the public sale launch. So if you want to participate in this airdrop, you will need to work your connections to get those referral numbers up. Winners will be notified by email.

Will you try to snag the LimeWire airdrop? If so...good luck! :-)
