Lots of crypto enthusiasts are flocking to Sei's airdrop page today to see how much $SEI they've earned during their testnet activities over the past months. There are a lot of, uh, feelings on the internet today about the amount of $SEI received and the long list of countries that were excluded from the airdrop.
Whether or not you missed out on the airdrop from Sei network directly, there's another opportunity available to win some $SEI from CoinGecko. CoinGecko is currently hosting a raffle through their 'Candies' reward system, where users can trade in 300 Candies for one raffle ticket. At the time of writing, it doesn't appear that there are any location restrictions for this raffle as there is for the official $SEI airdrop, which may be of interest to folks who couldn't claim today.

CoinGecko and Sei are giving away a total of 100,000 $SEI; five winners will receive 5,000 $SEI each, while the remaining 75,000 $SEI will be divvied up among the remaining qualified raffle entries. It appears there is a total of 500,000 raffle tickets available, with around 470,000 still remaining at the time of writing. To enter the raffle, confirm your spending of 300 candies for a code; then head to your Rewards center and click "Redeem Now" to open the Google form to fill out your necessary information to complete your entry.
Collecting 'Candies' on CoinGecko can be an easy way to participate in more airdrops and raffles from the platform. In the past, CoinGecko has let users redeem candies for things such as the Access Protocol airdrop, a raffle for a NEAR NFT airdrop, and an airdrop for an NFT for Decentral Game's ICE Poker Tournament, just to name a few.
